COVID-19 in Additional Languages

On Friday, our staff met to discuss COVID-19 and how we can best support and protect our patients during this stressful time. For those who suspect they have already been exposed to the virus, please call our office to get information on what steps to take. Please do not walk in as this can harm other patients and our staff.

In an effort to protect you and our staff from potential exposure, we have made some changes regarding our operations. These changes will go into effect immediately and until further notice.

Effective Immediately

At this time, we are still holding scheduled office visits.

  • If the patient is sick, or if anyone in the patient's family group is sick, they must go to the sick side of the office. Please limit the number of individuals accompanying patient to the appointment to one essential parent/caregiver.
  • Please call us immediately if you would like to postpone or cancel your appointment.
  • We are able to perform some remote consultations. If you would like to find out more about that option, please call our office.
  • All visitors and patients that come to our office MUST wash their hands immediately upon entering the office.
  • You should not touch your cell phone for the duration of your visit.
  • We ask that anyone visiting the office practice social distancing.
  • Please alert the front desk staff of your arrival if you or your child has had a fever the past 24-48 hours.
  • Please sit at a distance from other patients in the waiting room when possible.
  • In general, you should avoid large gatherings involving close contact with others and stay home whenever possible.

Please call us to handle any billing, scheduling, or other administrative matters.

Tips for Preventing Viral Illnesses and Supporting the Immune System

  • Eat nutrient-dense whole foods and drink plenty of pure water.
  • Stay active (Exercise for at least 30 minutes 4-5 times a week).
  • Get a good night's sleep (7-8 hours per night).
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick (The recommendation is 6 feet away).
  • All sick patients must enter through our sick side, or isolation room.

Remember most young children will remember how the adults in their lives handled the issue during this time, more than the specific details of the coronavirus.

Our kids are watching us and learning about how to respond to stress and uncertainty. Let's wire our children with resilience, not panic.
